Men's Soccer

The Bates College men's soccer team recently spent 11 days in Great Britain. They played four matches against English and Scottish teams, attended three professional matches and toured two other football stadiums, as well as many other historic sites around the two countries.

The first match in Scotland was against the reserve team from Glasgow Rangers, some of whom had played in Scottish Premier League matches.

Sophomore Chris Sporcic fights for the ball against the Rangers reserves.

Coach George Purgavie has a chat with the lads at halftime. The Rangers won, 8-0.  Click here for more.
