FARMINGTON, Maine -- First-year forward Brian Luoma tallied his first colegiate goal with 48 second remaining in the second overtime to give the Bates College men's soccer team (1-1) their first victory of the season, 1-0 over the University of Maine-Farmington. Senior forward Andy Apstein (Waban, Mass.) had the assist on the goal. The Bobcats outshot UMF, 20-9, but were only able to convert on the final chance.
