The Colby Mules (8-2) surged past the visiting Bates College Bobcats (5-4), 15-10, in men's lacrosse action in Waterville April 16. Bates' Aaron Sells (Brookline, Mass.) gave the Bobcats a quick 1-0 lead to begin the game. The Bobcats held a 3-2 lead at the end of the first quarter before Colby came back, scoring five second quarter goals to take a 7-6 halftime lead. In the second hald, Colby scored four goals in each period while holding the Bobcats to four goals total. Bobcat sophomore attack Mike D'Addario (Locust Valley, N.Y.) led all scorers with six goals and one assist for seven points, while senior attack Jay Lively (North Falmouth, Mass.) had one goal and five assists. Goalkeeper Jason Beyer had a career-high 20 saves for the Bobcats.
