AMHERST, Massachusetts -- Amherst sported five player in double-figures and shot 52% from the field the Lord Jeffs defeated the Bates College Bobcats en route to their thirteenth win of the season. Sophomore Erik Kelly (Staples, MN), senior Chris Ingraham (Tucson, AZ), and junior Chris Smith (Swarthmore, PA) each scored 17 points and the Jeffs knocked down 10 three-pointers.

On the strength of a 25-6 run to close out the first half, the Jeffs took a commanding 57-29 lead into the break. The game was basically over at that point. The Bobcats never cut the lead to under 20 points during the second half and the Jeffs coasted home for the easy win. Bates was led by a strong 22 point effort from sophomore center Rommel Padanou (Libreville, Gabon)
