Junior Nick Brunero (West Warwick, R.I.) became the first Bobcat ever to win the State of Maine Golf Championships, posting a four-over-par 76, as the Bobcats finished in third place. It was the second career win for Brunero, who won the USM Huskie Invitational last year. Senior captain Peter Coleman (St. Davids, Pa.) finished in a tie for 10th place with an 82, while junior Forgan McIntosh (Chestnut Hill, Mass.) shot an 86 and sophomore Dan Snow (Scarborough, Maine) an 87 to round out the scoring.
