MEN'S VARSITY EIGHTS-PLUS-COX TAKES 13TH AT HEAD OF THE CHARLES

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Bates College rowing team competed in the most prestigious event of the fall, the Head of the Charles regatta Oct. 22-23. The varsity mens 8+ had the best finish for men in the history of Bates Crew at the Head of the Charles. The Bobcats finished ahead of all other NESCAC programs in the Club 8+ and was guaranteed an entry for next years Charles based upon finish time.

Bates Crew will be traveling to Boston for the MIT Invitational on Saturday October 30. This will conclude the racing season for both the mens and womens programs.
