MEN'S EIGHTS SUCCESSFULLY DEFEND CBB CROWN

WATERVILLE, Maine -- In their second competition of the season, the CBB Fall Championships, the Bates men's varsity eight-plus boat successfully defended its conference title. The Bobcats topped Colby on their home course by seven seconds.

While the women's varsity eight-plus boat was unable to defend their crown from the White Mules, they showed marked improvement. Their 15 second deficit was 49 seconds better than their performance at the previous week's Textile River Regatta.
