New York Times: Well worth the free registration process. Plus they sometimes have free access to their crossword puzzle online.
The Onion: doesn't get much funnier. Weekly newspaper parody updates every Wednesday.
Online comics: I enjoy Foxtrot,
Doonesbury, and Dilbert.
